Magnolia Hudson Anderson, 81, of White Oak, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Riverside Care Center.
She was born October 25, 1937 in Clairton, PA, daughter of Frank and Lottie Arnold Hudson; Magnolia was the loving wife of the late Napoleon Anderson and also preceded in death by her siblings, Frank Hudson, Charles Hudson, Mary Cargle, Essie Hines, Ruby Combs, and Ruth Hudson.
Maggie, as she was affectionately known, was a member Morning Star Baptist Church of Clairton. She lived life to the fullest and loved playing Bingo and bowling. She enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and camping and also enjoyed sewing, camping. Maggie worked as an LPN, but was always a natural caretaker to her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Delvon (Michelle B.) Anderson of Bridgeville and daughter, Stacey Lynn Gallaway of White Oak; five grandchildren, Issac, Seth, Jeshua, Jocelyn, Michon; siblings, Margaret Miller of Washington, DC and Lottie Harris of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. in the Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
