Lydia Bailey

Lydia S. Bailey, 82 of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in York, Pennsylvania.

She was born August 29, 1935 in North Carolina, daughter of the late John and Lena Bryan-Miller.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nadine Bailey, grandson, Jayemond Bailey, and siblings, Marie Moore, Victoria Robertson, Delores Ailstock, as well as special friend, Albert Ritter.

She was a former member of Christ Temple Church.

Lydia’s life and legacy will be forever cherished by her loving daughter, Denise A. (James)  Bailey-Myers of York, PA and grandchildren, Demetrius Bailey, whom she reared, Jayeneca (Brandon) Elby of York, PA, Jajuan Bailey, Sr. of McKeesport, and great-grandchildren, Jayvawn Battle, Jahsawn Battle, Kysawn Givens, Jajuan Bailey, Jr., Jahlil Bailey, Brandon Elby, Jr.; siblings, Essie Bryan, and Arthur (Kathy) Bryan both of McKeesport, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many loving friends.
