Luther L. Cromerdie, lovingly known as "Junior", 90, of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1927 in Monessen, PA, son of the late Luther J. Cromerdie, Sr. and Nora Douglas Cromedie Coles.
Junior retired from US Steel Clairton Works, Coking Department after 35 years of employment.
Surviving are his seven children, Margaret Cromedie of Homestead, Sylvia Taylor of Philadelphia, Leonard Campbell (Michelle Sayles) of McKeesport, Roger (Karen) Campbell of McKeesport, Jordan Moore of Elizabeth, Val Chavis of Duquesne, and Kizzie Chavis of Pittsburgh; step-daughter, Betty Walker of McKeesport and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Friends will be received Friday from 10am-12pm in the Trinity Church of God In Christ, 2216 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania where services will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. Yvonne Thompson officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in Irwin, Pennsylvania.
