Jerome Prysock, known as Mouse, Rome, or Romey Rome, was born on July 8, 1958, in Braddock PA. to the late Samuel E. Prysock and Vera Hunt Prysock. Jerome graduated from General Braddock High School, aka, Scott HS. Once graduated he enlisted in the US Army and served for 2 years; once discharged he returned to Braddock, PA and married started his family, and pursued a career in contracting, he held several contracting positions, after contracting, Jerome became a Home Health Care Worker, where he assisted in the care of his parents until their passing. Jerome continued his career in the Home Health Care field.
Jerome maintained a positive outlook on life and never complained. He was always on the go helping and encouraging others. He loved being a servant. Jerome had a heart of gold and was a very caring man. He really enjoyed his job and taking care of people. He loved sports, cooking, and feeding people. We will all miss his cooking along with his famous macaroni tuna salad.
Jerome Loved Music. He enjoyed songwriting, singing, and playing various instruments. His favorite instrument was the congas. He aspired to be an artist, but we never received the debut album LOL.
What Jerome Loved most was his children he made sure that his children had a strong foundation with the Lord, and taught them that no matter what you go through always Trust and depend on God, things will work out God is in control. He enjoyed bragging to friends and family about their accomplishments and the things they were doing in life.
Jerome was a family man, a man of God. He loved and knew God and would reference the Lord to any and everybody in his path. Jerome will be truly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory, His three daughters: La Shawna Butler, Pittsburgh, PA, Keisha Prysock Los Angeles, CA, Janell Prysock, Duquesne, PA, four siblings, Delaphine Prysock, Los Angeles, CA, Anthony ( Marife) Prysock, Florida, FL, Kenneth Prysock, Pittsburgh, PA Lisa Prysock, Detroit, MI. Aunts Mrs. Willie Mae Williams, Bristol Lee Prysock, PA, 3 Grandchildren, Goddaughter Melvina Jackson, Special Friends ex-wife, Candice Butler-Davis, Crystal Marshall, and Troy (T-Bird) Simmons, cousins nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his late son Kenyatta Keshun Jones, and sister Valerie Prysock.
