Ernest Everson

Ernest Everson, 65, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2018, in his home.

He was born August 10, 1952, in McKeesport, PA, son of Louise Murphy of Pittsburgh.  He was preceded in death by his brother, David Everson and Mildred Everson, who reared him.

Ernest was an active and honored member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Clairton, where he sang in the Morning Star Baptist Church Male Chorus.

Surviving are his mother, Louise Murphy of Pittsburgh; four siblings, Selina (Gaylen) Wright of Penn Hills, Cynthia Murphy of Pittsburgh, Calvin Murphy of Pittsburgh, Hermina Murphy of Penn Hills; brother whom he was reared with, Maurice L. Simmons of Clairton, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends will be received on Monday from 9-11 a.m. in Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania
