Charles E. Warfield, Sr.

Charles E.  Warfield, Sr., 87, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in Lawson Nursing Home.

He was born September 24, 1931, in McKeesport, son of William Warfield, Sr. and Bessie Mae Ferguson Warfield Fant.  He was also preceded in death by his sons, Keith Warfield and George Maxwell and stepfather, Samuel Fant.

Charles was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and a former member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church.  He was retired from the United States Steel Clairton Works and he was also a former member of the Jerusalem Lodge #126 F&AM.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Beverly Maxwell Warfield of Clairton, children, Charles E. Warfield, Jr. of Penn Hills, Jerome (Violeta) Warfield of Salinas, CA, Dasiah Maxwell-Warfield, and DaShay Maxwell-Warfield both of Clairton; twelve grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild; siblings, Eunice Schley of Clairton and Joseph Alexander (Faith) Fant of Jefferson Hills; .

Friends will be received Monday, June 17, 2019, from 4-8 pm in Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 11:00 am with Rev. Willie Thompson, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
