Charles Eugene Jones Sr.

Charles Eugene Jones Sr, “Pap Snacks” 87 of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, peacefully surrounded by his family passed on Monday, October 22, 2018 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.

He was born May 15, 1931 in McKeesport, PA, son of the late Richard and Lillian Allen Jones.

He was preceded in death by children, Charles E. Jones Jr., Sharon B. Jones, Caroline Singleton,  grandson, Ameer Bentley, granddaughter, Saniah G. Tolbert, Siblings, Randolph Jones, John Collins, Gerald Jones, Lillian Jones, Timothy Jones

He was a member of St Paul A.M.E. Church in McKeesport PA. Charles enjoyed watching western movies. He worked as a Laborer for the US Steel Duquesne Works

Surviving is he loving wife Edna Singleton Jones; five children, Virgil (Davita) Jones of Monroeville PA, Patricia (Marvin) Singleton, Michael (Marilyn) Singleton, Cynthia J. Jones, Brian C. Jones, son-in-law, Tracy Tolbert all of McKeesport, PA; Granddaughter whom he reared, Felicia Singleton of McKeesport, PA, 15 grandchildren,  14 Great Grandchildren,  

stepchildren, Michael (Kenya) Prince, Ephron (Laura) Prince, David (Robin) Prince, Fredie Prince, nieces, nephews, cousin, and a host of friends.

Friends will be received at the St. Paul AME Church, 1350 Locust Street, McKeesport PA 15132 for visitation on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4:00 -8:00 pm. Where services will be held on, Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Geoffrey Tate officiating.

Interment will follow in the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Pennsylvania 15132.
