Bonnie Belton Obituary

BONNIE CLARE BELTON was born at McKeesport, PA on September 4, 1956.  She received her education from public schools and served as a nurses’ aide while rearing her son, Omar, and Daughter, Tia.  She made time to help others who had no work.  She was married to Gerald Allen Belton, sharing their love for over 4 decades. She also enjoyed her friendships and loved playing bingo with her friends.

Bonnie was not a stranger to trusting God and she put her faith and trust in Him during her bout with cancer, submitting her life to Jesus Christ when attending the McBLCOG as she sought healing, and was pronounced cancer-free over sixteen years ago.  She always remembered that our Lord hears and answers prayers and sought counsel from Pastor Bates in August 2020, about her spiritual needs.

Mrs. Bonnie Clare Belton departed this life from Mercy Hospital on July 8, 2021. Her Parents: Loretta Pavlovic, Mother, and Thermond Tressler, Father, and three Grandchildren: Dontae Davis, Jr. and Twins, preceded her in death.  She leaves to remember her Love and Care, and to cherish Her Memory:  Mr. Gerald Allen Belton, her Husband; Son, Omar Dontae Lee Como, Julia Henderson Como, his wife; Daughter, Tia Tonisha Como, Dontae Davis, Sr., her Fiancé; a Step Son, Gerald Barley of Ohio; Five of eight Grandchildren: Diamond, Rico, Selena, Jahsay, Lil Omar;   Five Brothers: Billy, Bobby, Tommy, Pete, and Dennis; Two Sisters: Sharon and Lori, her Husband, Bug; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A TRIBUTE

In loving memory of my Queen my mother Bonnie Clare Belton – A Beautiful person: loving, caring, sharing, kind, gentle woman and full of laughs. Always helped an animal or person that needed help! You loved to sing and dance, loving everyone and those who knew you, you were the best any could ever have had.  Yes, I Will Always Love You! “Don’t cry for me, I’m living in glory! I’m watching over every one of you So I can help you through. Continue looking to the sky, Cause God never lies. He is our Savior, please continue with good behavior. Know I’m waiting for you so come on through, I will be waiting for you.” “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Highest shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Psalms 91…      BY, Tia
