Gwendolyn "Gwen" Green

Gwendolyn Green, 61, affectionately known as Gwen of Clairton, was born January 12, 1963, in McKeesport, PA. She was the beloved daughter of Helen Lee and the late George Green.

Gwendolyn attended the Clairton School District. She later joined the Job Corp program for career training. She received her Food Handling Safe Serv Certificate to work in the fast-food industry, she worked as a Caregiver for her mother and was employed by the Care Zone Agency.

Gwen enjoyed watching movies and soaps. Most importantly Gwen loved spending time with her daughter Melissa and grandchildren, Neveah, and Kortnee. They had an unbreakable relationship. The bond they had with each other was held together with unconditional love and compassion towards one another. Their bond will never be broken. They will carry the love of their mother, grandmother, and lifelong friend in their hearts forever.

Gwendolyn departed this life on March 22, 2024, at AHN Jefferson Hospital in Clairton, PA. She was preceded in death by her father, George Green, brothers, Peter Green, Grayham Green, sister, Gilda Green Broadus

Gwendolyn is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hamlin; 2 grandchildren; Neveah Hamlin and Kortnee Hamlin her, lifelong partner Milton Hamlin all of Clairton, PA; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
